Evander Terminal Order ("ETO") is analysis and development software. It is not a broker, not a fund, not a signal service and not an adviser. Nothing ETO produces — backtests, replays, reports, challenge simulations, generated strategies or terminal output — constitutes investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an invitation to trade. Evander Labs is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and does not carry on regulated activities. Decisions to trade, and the results of those decisions, are yours alone.
Backtests and challenge simulations are based on historical data and modelled costs. Past performance and simulated performance are not reliable indicators of future results. Simulations cannot fully reproduce liquidity, slippage, outages or your own behaviour under pressure. Our reports deliberately present findings with caveats, never verdicts — treat any strategy metric as a description of the past, not a promise about the future.
Any trading account you connect (demo or live) is held with your broker under your agreement with them. Your money is never held by, or accessible to, Evander Labs. Read your broker's own risk disclosure before trading; their current retail loss percentage is published on their website.
Software can fail. Feeds can stall, servers can restart, code — including code generated on your instruction — can contain errors. Test on practice or demo accounts first, keep your own protective stops with your broker, and do not run unattended live strategies you have not observed at length.
